InformationThe Workshop

From the selection of the ideal piece of wood to the complete finishing and polishing of every part there is a long way to go. The secret of the whole proccess is in making each element, no matter how small it is, to have well defined self characters. The result is a piece with a personality of its own

The tasks in our workshop are varied and cover a great number of precise processes and activities.

Depending on the kind of construction required by each piece, regardless if it's a cannon, a dagger, a poniard or a pistol, there are clare stages to follow. The most absolute care in every one of them is of extreme matter for the complete finishing has the strength and the quality that distinguish our products.

Every pistol has it genesis in a chop of wood that later will become a stock thanks to the careful work with de file. The complete finishing gets its best thanks to the use of lacquers, varnishes and resins.

Regardless it is the blade of a dagger, the barrel of a pistol or the soul of a poniard, iron's nobility is a very important fact when it comes to choose the material to start building a piece.
The polishing and finishing are made completely by hand.

All of our cannons are forged in bronze and its stocks are made of walnut to give them more strength. All models of cannons and pistols are completely functional and shoot lead ammunition propelled by black powder.

Many raw barrels

Raw becomes handcrafted by a careful process that takes many stages.

After smelting

This barrel has just came out of the forging process and after being cooled it is prepared for the fine work.

Making shapes

The genesis of the whole construction process of every cannon.
The very soul of the cannon, its barrel, is forged in bronze at hight temperatures.

The barrel is mounted on a specially designed device to make polishing easier, making that the piece spins constantly over its own central axis. This way we can get a homogenic finishing.

Hot iron

Iron must be hot to high temperatures, not only to achieve the ideal finishing, but also to get the maximum strength trough tempering.

Bronze powder

Polishing is the hardest part in the treatment of a barrel. It requires intense care for a perfect finishing.

The minor winch

Unseparable partner. It is te responsible of the barrels of almost every short weapon and also of many other pieces that are used in several of our products.

Tha major winch

The last aquisition for the workshop. It can work with longer pieces, allowing the production of barrels for long weapons.
